All Stranahan’s single malts are double-distilled in small batches. The mash is a blend of 4 local malted barleys grown in Colorado. The first distillation runs through a custom-made combination pot and column still. In the second distillation, the spirit is passed through a smaller, traditional copper pot still. Stranahan’s dedication to quality is well-recognized, with multiple prestigious accolades. Original and Blue Peak won Gold medals while Sherry Cask, Mountain Angel 10-year, and 12-year all won Double Gold at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
