A champagne cocktail that's smooth and easy drinking, without the heavy sweetness of the classic. The drink has notes of walnut and sherry, with a hint of leather on the nose.

Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Pendleton® Midnight
- 1 cube Sugar
- 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
- 3-4 oz Champagne

Instructions
- 1. Combine bitters and sugar cube in a mixing glass and muddle until sugar is broken down.
- 2. Add whiskey and ice.
- 3. Stir until chilled.
- 4. Pour mixture into a champagne flute.
- 5. Top with champagne.
