A chocolate laced version of a whiskey espresso martini with a vanilla finish. If you're lacking ice at base camp, this makes a delicious hot drink as well.
  • Ingredients

    • 2 oz Stranahan's Blue Peak
    • 0.5 oz Chocolate Liqueur or Dark Crème de Cacao
    • 1 oz Espresso
    • 0.5 oz Vanilla Simple Syrup *

    Garnishes

    • 1 Toasted Marshmallow
  • Instructions

    • 1. Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
    • 2. Add ice and shake vigorously.
    • 3. Strain into coupe glass.
    • 4. Garnish with a toasted marshmallow.
  • * Vanilla Syrup: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan, then add a vanilla bean that's been split open and lower heat to low. Let simmer for 10 minutes and then add 1 cup sugar. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside and let cool, but do not strain. Refrigerate.
